Welcome to, ICAST, the ISO 9001 certified Information Centre of National Aerospace Laboratories, Bangalore, India. The centre caters to the information requirements of aerospace community in particular and all other scientific and technical personnel in general. Our centre is known for its rich aerospace collections of books, journals and specifically techical reports from NASA, DLR, ONERA, NLR, ARL, etc. The centre is completely automated and provides web access to its large database (OPAC) with more than 2.7 lakhs of bibligraphic records of books, technical reports, standards, patents, thesis etc.

The centre has set up a portal 'AeroInfo' (http://www.aeroinfo.org.in), a World Wide Virtual Library for Aerospace Science and Technology providing links to thousands of web sources in the area of aviation, space, aerodynamics, avionics, mechanical engineering, materials, composites, computer science and many other related subjects. These sources are organised under most sought after subject headings including NASA subject categories. Quite a good number of intranet/email based information services like Access to thousands of E-Journals, number of International Bibliographic Databases, Journals Table of Contents and News Paper Clippings are being provided.
