The Aerospace Electronics and Training Systems Division is an electronics
and computer engineering-oriented organization serving the needs of industry
and government agencies through aerospace technology transfer. The division
combines extensive hardware and software design activities with a comprehensive
systems engineering program. In addition, a broad range of
services is available to help clients produce, operate, and manage
systems through effective training, supply, transportation, distribution,
testing, maintenance, repair, and other logistics support functions.

sectors, growing twice as fast as the country's GDP for the past decade.
In the period from 1986 through 1996, total sales for Canada's aerospace
industry expanded by approximately 140 percent. Total market size
for the sector reached 2.5 billion in 1997 and is currently forecast to
reach 3.0 billion in 1998.
